Good morning everyone! September went by fast, didn’t it? Wow! Can’t believe Saturday is October 1st already!
To begin, I found Penny in the least comfortable position (IMO).
Last Tuesday, Ruby went to the vet to get her steroid shot. As you can tell, she was READY to go!!
Some days, when work is getting TOO crazy, I just stop what I’m doing and just hang out with the puppies. They are the BEST co-workers!
And Mr. Jeffrey takes the BEST Selfies!
My husband and I went to the store Friday night, and came to this:
LOL! They put their toys all in a ROW!!!
We were up (kind of early) on Sunday morning and Mr. Jeffrey wanted some lovin’ from daddy.❤
After a busy day, the babies were napping together. Jeffrey grabbed the bed first, followed by Ruby. They don’t care.
We sometimes have a oppossum that hangs out in our yard (and the surrounding houses) late at night. And Miss Penny Lane KNOWS it, too!
And if its not oppossums at night, then its Squirrelys during the day!
Until next time, bark on!🙂
Hello everyone! Its almost the end of the month and I’m wrapping up my September list of Use it or Lose it. I’ve used quite a bit and here are a few layouts featuring those items:
Friends: Used Zazz! glitter glue and MAMBI pattern papers
Generations: Prima Flowers and The Paper Studio “Family Heirloom” collection
Born to Scrap: Bo Bunny “Forever Young” chipboard
Love: MAMBI pattern paper
Good morning everyone! Sketch N Scrap just announced that we’ll be celebrating World Card Making Day (WCMD) ALL month long during October on the blog! AND……

Come check us out on our blog or Facebook page!
Hope to see ya guys there!
Good morning everyone! Sketch N Scrap‘s latest card sketch is so versatile and a new fave of mine! Lisa Hidy is the fabulous sketch artist:
I loved it so much, I stayed true to the design. Here is my version of it:
I’ve been hoarding the Basic Grey “25th & Pine” collection. Since BG is no more, I figured I might as well stop hoarding and start using! LOL! Washi tape is MME.
Make sure you stop by the Sketch N Scrap blog and see what the DT came up with.
Good afternoon everyone! My doggies have been super cute this past week – posing for the camera, playing with each other, getting love from us. Makes for really super cute pics!
To start, last Sunday Penny and Jeffrey were playing my scrap room and Ruby Mae watched the whole thing!
Later that day, the girls enjoyed hanging out outside, soaking up the sun
On Monday morning, I managed to get this sweet photo of Ruby and Jeffrey together by the large tree
On Wednesday, Ruby Mae wanted belly rubs by the rubber tree
On Friday, Miss Penny looked like she was having a “ruff” day
Mr Jeffrey came up to me mid-day Friday, telling me that I should take a break from work and just take pics of him and sissy:
And Jeffrey kept up his “lovey doveyness” with hanging out with my hubby while we watched TV Friday night.
Until next time, bark on!🙂
Hello everyone! Hope you all have had a good weekend. Can’t believe tomorrow is almost Monday!
Anyways, my newest layout features my sweet girls – Ruby Mae and Lady Bear – from May 2015.
I used Doodlebug “Puppy Love” collection for the papers, stickers, enamel dogs, washi tape and paper clips.
I submitted this layout for Paper Issues Pet Challenge where I had to use something that is new to me (Doodlebug Puppy Love) and use something that I had been hoarding. I chose the veneers from Crate Paper “Hello Love” collection. I even colored the title using an orange gelato.
The design is based on Let’s Get Sketchy’s latest sketch:
Good morning everyone! Today I’d like to share with you Sketch N Scrap’s latest sketch – #113 – designed by the very talented Lisa Hidy:
And here is my take on it:
I used ONLY Doodlebug “Puppy Love” collection with this layout. Those photos of Mr Jeffrey were taken about 3 1/2 years ago. They were MEANT for this awesome collection!
I chose Doodlebug because I wanted to submit this layout for ACOT’s Manufacturer Challenge. The letter is D and of course, I have nothing else BUT Doodlebug!🙂
Make sure you stop by the Sketch N Scrap blog and check out the rest of the talented DT’s work. Then join us by uploading your version of the sketch to our blog.
Good morning everyone! Miss Ruby Mae and Mr. Jeffrey are the stars this week, with Ruby having really really GREAT days!
With cold laser therapy, steroid shots and medication, she’s able to sit up much longer.
Here she is being silly. She actually was playing and then later took a nap like this. LOL
Mr. Jeffrey not wanting his picture taking, but still kind of looking at us.
Ruby wanting her belly rubbed
I tried getting BOTH of them to look at me, but nope. It was either or. LOL
I did manage to get a decent pic of Miss Penny Lane though!
Until next time, bark on!
Good morning everyone! Today I’m sharing with you the newest Sketches in Thyme Sketch.
How fun is this? Love the hint of mixed media with the smaller photos and the white space.
Here is my take on it:
Journaling reads: Penny went thru a phase where she’d pull stuffing out of old blankets and comforters. She’d find the smallest hole and have a field day. These blankets were really old – 15-20 years old. She sure had fun! May 24, 2013
For my mixed media, I chose to start with some gesso (painting it with quick strokes using an old toothbrush). After that dried, I used Shimmerz Vibez in Jeni B Blue for splatters and some misting. Came back with my Crafter’s Workshop stencil with black ink for the half circles. Polished it off with paw prints stamped in yellow ink.
After that dried, using the colors from my mixed media work (white, yellow and blue), I pulled papers/stickers from Fancy Pants “Park Bench” collection. I don’t have much left of it but tons of stickers. I even used a border strip (the floral pieces). That is from my September Use It or Lose It post, as well as the “today” PL card from Dear Lizzy and paw print stamps from Inkadinkado.
Good morning everyone! Sketch N Scrap has a brand new card sketch, designed by the very talented Lisa Hidy:
I fell in love with this sketch the moment I saw it! And here is my take on it:
I kind of mirrored the image a bit, using only The Paper Studio “North Pole Productions”. I am trying to get a head start on my Christmas cards. I am notorious in making them on the 10th of December and rushing. Last year, I did a little better. Dec 2nd. LOL. But I still rushed.
Make sure you stop by Sketch N Scrap blog and check out the rest of the fabulous DT cards. TFL!🙂
