Hello everyone! Crazy how January is already half over! Time sure does fly by and it flies by quicker when I’m taking pics of the furbabies! 🙂
It was very windy last week and you can see Jackson out in the grass and it almost looks like he’s holding on to it! LOL
On Friday, I caught him hanging out on a fence post. LOL! He’s the cutest! ❤ ❤
Jeffrey looks tuff!
I even got a couple of pics with all three! Granted…no one is looking at me or the camera…but hey! Its still cute! 😉
Speaking of CUTE, li’l Jackson KNOWS he’s CUTE!
I also got all 3 in one picture from Sunday. Sleeping in my scrap room
And last but not least….Jackson sitting on top of my unfinished layout. He’s wondering why its not about him. LOL
Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂
Love is in the air!! Please join us via Facebook for Sketch N Scrap‘s Crop on February 11th thru the 14th! We’ll have challenges, sketches, tons of inspiration and prizes!!!
Hope you can join us! ❤ ❤
Good morning everyone! Today Sketch N Scrap has a brand new sketch, designed by the talented Heather Hall!
OMGoodness, there is sooo many possibilities for this sketch! And here is my take on it:
The pics are of my brother’s kitten, Athena. She just had a bath and looked so cute being wrapped up in a warm towel. Hence the title, Warm & Cozy. I added stitching to go for ACOT’s Title Challenge (Deanna is allowing us to go back and do as many Title Challenges from 2016 as we want!). The papers are from Best Creative, the little brad is Basic Grey, and the ric rac is from stash (which, btw, I used up!). The little cork ampersand is from Studio Calico.
I used my Cricut to cut out my title. Its the pre-loaded cart, Cricut Alphabet (I chose that to be my digi cart for January). I usually weld my letters together, but things didn’t look right this time, so I kept them as single letters.
Make sure you stop by Sketch N Scrap’s blog to check out the rest of the DT’s fabulous work with this sketch. Hope you can come and join us!
Good afternoon everyone! I’m back again with NEW adorable furbaby pics! So let’s get started!
When we dipped down into the 20’s this past weekend, you could find li’l Jackson under the blankets. He even popped his head out to say HI!
With just 2 pups, its easier to get ALL of my DOGS into one shot, and with that said, here’s Jeffrey and Penny (P.S. They were begging!)
Hubby hasn’t came home at lunch time since the beginning of the year, so the babies wait for him even more than ever at night:
Penny loves her bones!
We started thawing out on Sunday and by Monday, our highs were in the 70’s! The pups sure did love that!
Until next time, bark AND meow on! 😉
Good morning everyone! Today is my turn to share with you the newest sketch from Sketches in Thyme, designed by Shawn
I LOVE the placeholder for a larger photo and all those sprinkles! And here is my take on it:
The photo is of my scrap room, the morning after the first day of scrapping all night with my girlfriends. The large glittered title is from Pebbles, and it was one of my items from December that I never got to use from my Use It or Lose It challenge. Here’s a close up of that gorgoeus glittered title:
The papers are from The Paper Studio “Wild @ Heart” and the enamel dots are from various companies – Doodlebug, Freckled Fawn and Echo Park. The little black doily is also from Doodlebug and the pink alphas are from Basic Grey “Highline” collection. The washi tape is by Love My Tapes and the black heart paper clip and pink arrow paper clip are both Freckled Fawn.
Make sure you stop by the Sketches in Thyme blog and hope you can play along with us!
Good evening everyone! Its been a while since I’ve scrapped that the layout/project wasn’t for a design team! LOL. Since the holidays have winded down, I’m able to scrap a little at night now. Which is great! So to start, I used the Week One sketch from Let’s Get Sketchy:
I really fell in love with all the layers and the floral cluster. So here is my take on it:
Photo is of my husband and I at dinner from 2012 – our 5th Anniversary. The papers are all Crate Paper and the die cuts – floral piece and title – are from my Cricut “Cricut Alphabet” cartridge. That was one of the carts I challenged myself to use this month. 🙂
The chipboard flower is Bo Bunny and stencil is Studio Calico. My ink is from Clearsnap and the heart brads are from my stash.
I am also submitting this layout to 2 ACOT Challenges – Title and Ever-Changing. The title challenge is like a “Best of 2016” style challenge where Deanna is allowing us to go back and do any/all of the Title 2016 Challenges. I went back and chose April – “YOU & ME” as your title PLUS at least ONE heart. I have Four!
I also chose Ever-Changing Challenge. Susan is alternating what each month is and this month – use a stencil! Any way. So I used a dauber and my ink to use my stencil.
Happy New Year everyone! I have a few pics to share with you of my furbabies. Always being cute. 🙂
Mr. Jeffrey posed for me on New Year’s Eve:
Jackson could care less and snoozed most of the night away:
Miss Penny was a little scared but check this out! No THUNDERSHIRT!!!!!
On New Year’s Day, my family got together to celebrate Christmas. 5 out of the 6 pups were all napping, waiting for us to open presents. (P.S. Penny was in our bedroom)
Back at work, Jackson was watching my printer.
And speaking of Jackson…lol…at night, he’s the Headless Kitten!
Until next time, meow and bark on! 🙂
Good morning everyone! The first card sketch of the new year was designed by Heather Hall:
I opted to use just one banner piece, centering the circle/sentiment:
Papers are Bo Bunny; Ribbon is CTMH and chipboard sentiment is Heidi Swapp.
Make sure you stop by the Sketch N Scrap blog to check out the DT cards and play along with us.
Good morning and Happy New Year! Hope you all have had a wonderful time spending it with loved ones. We will be having our Christmas get-together with my family today because my BFF was on call during Christmas. Really didn’t want to have two separate parties.
Last month, despite it being a very busy Holiday-month, I did pretty darn good using my stash. Here is what was used up last month:
- Cloud 9 Design Rain Dots
- Basic Grey Christmas brads
- Basic Grey Fact or Fiction banners
- Heidi Swapp paper pack
- Making Memories metal words
- Bella Blvd “Just add color”
- CTMH collection pack
What I didn’t get a chance to use but will try it ONE more time this month are:
- Pebbles gold glittered chipboard words
- Reminisce “Its a dogs life” stickers
There was a couple of items from November that I got to use up as well:
- Bling – different shades of purple
- pre-made white bow
What I didn’t use and will be put in the bin is the LYB pocket with strips.
Okay..so new month AND new year. I have decided to pull my Cricut Carts out and challenge myself to use them. Now…I won’t “lose them”, but I do want to try my best at using each cart at least 3 times.
I counted and I have 12 physical cricut cartridges! Perfect! One for each month!
My physical Cricut carts are as follows:
- All Sports
- Freshly Picked
- Paper Doll Dress Up
- Opposites Attract
- Printing 101
- Pink Journey
- My Quiet Book
- Creative Holiday Cards
- Bridal & Baby Soirees
I also have digital cartridges available via the Cricut Craft Room (CCR). Those are as follows:
- Cricut Alphabet **
- CCR Basics **
- Cricut Font/Basic Shapes **
- Formal Occasion
- Life’s a Party
- Paper Pups
The digital carts marked with ** are the ones that automatically come available with CCR. I didn’t buy them. Also, Cricut will offer a free cartridge digitally for a week or so. Those are listed as they differ all the time.
So for this month, I’m pulling the “All Sports” cartridge and will use the Cricut Alphabet also.
Wish me luck and as always, I’ll try to stop by periodically throughout the month to showcase how I used those carts.
Good morning everyone and Happy New Year!!! Not only is this a new year but we have a BRAND new sketch designed by the talented Lisa Hidy of Sketch N Scrap:
I just LOVE the bordre and the long title, with all the layers. And here is my take on it:
These pics are of my brother’s little dog, Max, who LOVED to ride around with Uncle Rob (my husband).
My title and border is cut using my Cricut — Cricut Alphabet for the letters and the border of grass is from “All Sports” cartridge.
The paper clip is from Freckled Fawn and the stickers are from Simple Stories.
The little die cut doggie is from The Paper Studio and washi tape is Queen & Co. My solid cardstock (red and black) is Bazzill, while the wood grain paper and green cardstock is MME. The brown/green pattern paper is from Pink Paislee.
I am challenging myself to use my Cricut more and I’m hosting the ACOT Die Cut Challenge. This month, since its the first time I’m hosting it, I made it really simple. Just use your die cut machine to make a border! Hope you can come and join us, along with stopping by Sketch N Scrap blog to check out the rest of the fabulous DT work. Hope you can join us there too!
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
