Hi everyone! This past weekend I had some of my scrappy friends over for our first crop of 2017. Its always alot of fun and I usually get 4-7 layouts done and I actually surpassed that goal! I completed TEN layouts by the time the last girl packed up her stuff! You guys already saw my Super Star layout from earlier. So here’s the rest of the layouts I did on Saturday.
This is my happy place. I used Simple Stories “Summer Vibes” papers, buttons are from stash. Its based on the sketch for ACOT’s Sketch with a Twist Challenge.
Summertime. Everything is Simple Stories “Summer Vibes”
Adventure Awaits. Alphas are Bo Bunny. Everything else is Simple Stories “Summer Vibes”.
And the last layout of the evening…..
Slumber Party with Mommy. Background paper and photo mat is by 7 Paper. The Kraft foiled bone paper is Anna Griffin. Mini alphas are by My Little shoebox and clear stickers are Simple Stories.
I’ll be back tomorrow to share with you the layouts I created on Sunday!
Good afternoon everyone! Today I’m sharing with you a super cute layout of Mr. Jeffrey that I did over the weekend!
Its based on the latest Let’s Get Sketchy sketch:
I was inspired by the large star, and chose to use my Cricut to cut out the extra-large basketball (since Jeffrey was posing with HIS little basketball toy!). I used some black Tattered Angels mist and Studio Calico veneer stars. Washi tapes are by Queen & Co. I colored in the openings of the letters – “p”, “e” and “a” to be submitted to ACOT’s Graphic Design Challenge. And since that die cut basketball is so large, its also for ACOT’s Size Matters challenge!
Good morning everyone! Today I have the 2nd card sketch for the month of March from Lisa Hidy:
And here is my take on it:
I used Bo Bunny “Love Letters”. I thought that sticker was perfect for this sketch. The rest of the card came together rather quickly.
Make sure you stop by the Sketch N Scrap blog to check out the rest of the creativity by the DT. Hope you can play along.
Good morning everyone!! I have the 2nd layout sketch for March from Heather Hall to share with you:
And here is my take on it:
I used Bo Bunny “Liberty” collection (yes, another oldie but goodie).
Journaling reads: Jennifer made Rob this NAVY blanket for Christmas, 2011. You can tell how much he appreciated it!
Make sure you stop by the Sketch N Scrap blog to check out the rest of the DT’s take on this awesome sketch! Hope you can play along!
Good morning everyone! Today is my turn to share with you a new sketch by Bev Code for Sketches In Thyme:
And here is my take on it:
Its an old photo of me and Kandie. I used Echo Park “BARK” for the papers/stickers. A bo Bunny doily; Paper Studio dog brad; Jolee’s paw prints and a Sticko “WOOF!” sticker.
Make sure you stop by the Sketches in Thyme blog to check out the other sketches. You have until the end of the month to play along!
Good morning everyone! Today I’m sharing with you a wonderful card sketch designed by Heather Hall:
Its super cute and LOVE those flowers! So here is what I came up with:
Everything is Bo Bunny. Very very very OLD Bo Bunny. Like Vicki B (sentiment sticker and cream colored pattern paper). And Mango Luau (the flowers that were fussy cut from pattern paper and the striped pattern paper). And lets not forget Flower Child (lime green pattern paper). LIke I said…OLD Bo Bunny. But it works! LOL
So head over to Sketch N Scrap blog to check out the latest card sketch and what the fabulous DT came up with! Hope you can join us!
Good evening everyone! Its been raining off and on all day, so what’s a girl to do? Stay inside and scrap! And this layout uses the newest sketch from Let’s Get Sketchy:
I LOVED the design on this one. I used washi tapes for the diagnol part, and Tattered Angels mist and Shimmerz watercolors for the mixed media part.
I used Doodlebug “Kitten Smitten” collection – papers, die cuts, washi tapes and stickers.
The alphas are a quite the mixture. I used Cosmo Cricket (yellow alphas), My Little Shoebox (pink alphas), Basic Grey (grey alphas) and Amy Tangerine (black thickers). I chose a long title for this layout to be used for ACOT’s Use Your Stash Challenge, which was to use 2 or more different alphas, and to dig deep in your stash.
Good morning everyone!!! Starting this month, I’ve rephrased my “Use it or Lose it Challenge” to be “Cricut Challenge” as I’m pulling one phycial Cricut cartridge and one digi cart to use per month.
If you remember, I pulled the “Freshly Picked” physical cartridge and the pre-loaded CCR Basics cartridge for February. I only used the “Freshly Picked” cart once, but I did use the digi one a few times. February was a crazy month, and short too!
Anyways, for March, I’m pulling the physical cartridge “Paper Doll Dress Up” and digi cart “Cricut Font/Basic Shapes”. I’m looking forward to using these 2 carts this month.
Good morning everyone! I can’t believe its March 1st! Boy is time flying by fast or what!
Anyways, I have a wonderful sketch to share with you from Sketch N Scrap, designed by Lisa Hidy:
It has room for FIVE pics! And surprisingly…that’s how many I used on my layout!
I moved things around a bit. I started with the hexagon pattern paper and fussy cut the edge. I used black cardstock for my base and photo mats to make everything POP! The borders, the title and the washi tape is from the same collection as the hexagon pattern paper – RECOLLECTION “Color Splash”.
The die cuts are from 2 cartridges. I used “Paper Doll Dress Up” for the palm tree; and “Cricut Font & Basic Shapes” for the little flowers. These are the 2 cartridges I pulled for my March Cricut challenge to myself.
I chose to use flowers and the palm tree because not only do they go with the collection/photos, but that is what I’m challenging everyone to use at ACOT for my March Die Cut Challenge.
Hope you can join me at both ACOT and Sketch N Scrap to play along! You have until March 31st for all entries!
