If I had a dollar…

Good morning everyone! Today I have our 3rd Birthday Bash Sketch to share with you from Lisa Hidy for Sketch N Scrap:

How fun is this one? My photos are a bit larger than what the sketch shows, but it still works!

Pics are of me holding Bella, my brother’s li’l doggie. Isn’t she adorable? ❤

I used Photo Play “Cooper & Friends” for my papers/die cuts; rub on doggie biscuits are by Paperhouse Productions. The gem paw prints are from Hobby Lobby (The Paper Studio) and the little fire hydrant is from Reminisce.

Hanging Out

Good morning all! Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Today, I have a brand new sketch designed by Heather Hall to share with you for Sketch N Scrap:

I’m lovin’ the diagnol design! And here’s my take on it:

The pics are of my hubby holding Max and Bella. They are just hanging out! I pulled colors from my hubby’s shirt and used a chicken wire stencil to bring out the chain link fence. My pics are larger than the sketch, but I still love the diagnol design. My list of products are as follows:

cardstock: MME, Bo Bunny
stencil: Crafter’s Workshop
texture paste: Shimmerz
so awesome embellie, paper clips: Freckled Fawn
veneers: Bo Bunny
word phrases, alphas: Simple Stories
enamel dots: Echo Park
twine: from stash

Hello

Good morning ya’ll! Today I have Sketch N Scrap’s 2nd Birthday Bash sketch from Lisa Hidy:

I LOVED this sketch! The large flower. The border strips. I was undecided on whether I was going to do washi tape or pattern paper, but I bought some washi tape from Hobby Lobby about a month ago and STILL hadn’t put them away. Nor did I put away my latest large order from A Cherry On Top, which included a large flower. LOL. Just with the goodies on my desk, the card was done!

The flower is from Petaloo, and all the washi tape is The Paper Studio. Cardstock is from Bazzill.

Make sure you check out the rest of the DT’s wonderful work with this card sketch – you’ll get tons of inspiration! Hope you can play along!

Good Dog

Good morning and Happy Birthday to Sketch N Scrap!!! We’re celebrating our 5th birthday all month long with Exclusive Sketches, NSD AND an online crop!! So lets kick off this party with the very first exclusive birthday sketch, designed by the very talented Heather Hall!

Gorgeous isn’t it? I was so excited when I saw this sketch. It took me a while to figure out what I’d do with it though. Die cut? Stencil/mixed media? Stitching? The options are endless and I ended up using my Cricut to cut out a very messy ring.

The rest of my products is PhotoPlay “Cooper & Friends”. Just check out Mr. Jeffrey. He was quite focused on something and not on the camera!

Make sure you hop over to our blog and check out the rest of the DT’s fantastic work with this amazing sketch.

TFL and hope to see you there!

Jump In!

Good morning everyone! Today I have a brand new sketch to share with you created by the very talented Lisa Hidy for Sketch N Scrap

Isn’t it awesome!?!?! I fell in love with it the moment she posted it and I ended up rotating it 90 degrees.

My sweet Penny playing in the pool. She wasn’t even a year old yet – Summer 2013.

I used papers from Chickaniddy and Bella Blvd, with enamel shapes/dots by various companies: MME, Basic Grey, Webster’s Pages, Doodlebug and The Paper Studio.

The cute camera veneer, as well as the heart and tag are by Basic Grey. The little stickers are Simple Stories.

The die cut title/sub-title – “Jump In!” and “Water fun” are from the Cricut cartridge “H2O”.

Make sure you come and join us this month over at Sketch N Scrap. Not only do we have our usual 2 layouts and 2 car sketches, but we’re celebrating all month long with a birthday bash!
