You can do anything…

Good morning everyone! I can’t believe its March 1st! Boy is time flying by fast or what!

Anyways, I have a wonderful sketch to share with you from Sketch N Scrap, designed by Lisa Hidy:

march-1st-layout

It has room for FIVE pics! And surprisingly…that’s how many I used on my layout!

I moved things around a bit. I started with the hexagon pattern paper and fussy cut the edge. I used black cardstock for my base and photo mats to make everything POP! The borders, the title and the washi tape is from the same collection as the hexagon pattern paper – RECOLLECTION “Color Splash”.

The die cuts are from 2 cartridges. I used “Paper Doll Dress Up” for the palm tree; and “Cricut Font & Basic Shapes” for the little flowers. These are the 2 cartridges I pulled for my March Cricut challenge to myself.

I chose to use flowers and the palm tree because not only do they go with the collection/photos, but that is what I’m challenging everyone to use at ACOT for my March Die Cut Challenge.

Hope you can join me at both ACOT and Sketch N Scrap to play along! You have until March 31st for all entries!

TFL! 🙂

Christmas Traditions

Good morning everyone! Today I have a brand new sketch to share with by Lisa Hidy

february-1st-layout

Isn’t it cute? I Love the multi-photo placement with all the hearts!

And here is my take on it:

I chose stars to represent “cutting out cookies”. I used my CCR Basics and my CCR software to make some of the “frames” by layering a smaller star inside the larger ones. I also used my CCR Basics to cut out my title.

I used Basic Grey “25th & Pine” papers/stickers with Bazzill cardstock and American Crafts Zazz! glitter glue in gold and crimson.

You can also head over to A Cherry On Top to check out my February Die Cut Challenge. My challenge to you is to use frames on your page. But not just any frames. No – not the common square/rectangle frames. I want you to make circles, hearts, stars – whatever you can come up with.

Hope you can come join us at both ACOT and Sketch N Scrap! Make sure you also check out the rest of the DT’s work with this fabulous sketch!

TFL! 🙂

Riding around…..

Good morning everyone and Happy New Year!!! Not only is this a new year but we have a BRAND new sketch designed by the talented Lisa Hidy of Sketch N Scrap:

january-1st-layout

I just LOVE the bordre and the long title, with all the layers. And here is my take on it:

These pics are of my brother’s little dog, Max, who LOVED to ride around with Uncle Rob (my husband).

My title and border is cut using my Cricut —  Cricut Alphabet for the letters and the border of grass is from “All Sports” cartridge.

The paper clip is from Freckled Fawn and the stickers are from Simple Stories.

The little die cut doggie is from The Paper Studio and washi tape is Queen & Co. My solid cardstock (red and black) is Bazzill, while the wood grain paper and green cardstock is MME. The brown/green pattern paper is from Pink Paislee.

I am challenging myself to use my Cricut more and I’m hosting the ACOT Die Cut Challenge. This month, since its the first time I’m hosting it, I made it really simple. Just use your die cut machine to make a border! Hope you can come and join us, along with stopping by Sketch N Scrap blog to check out the rest of the fabulous DT work. Hope you can join us there too!

Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
